Geneva Steverson Crowe, 85, of Helena, died Sunday, August 13, following a brief illness.  A funeral service was held at 10:00A.M., Thursday, August 17, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae, with burial in the Blockhouse Church Cemetery, Jacksonville.

A native of Telfair County, Ms. Crowe was the daughter of the late William Jesse Steverson and the late Fannie Lee Pittman Steverson.  She was employed with Oxford Industries for many years and was a member of Soul Cross Ministries.  Ms. Crowe was preceded in death by twin daughters, Mary and Martha Crowe.

Survivors include her daughters, Genny Conley of Helena and Marianne Eslami of Birmingham, AL; sisters, Laverne Polk of Hoboken, Elizabeth Homans of Brunswick and Sharon Miller of Roanoke, AL; ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
